Addavox Live vs live AI dubbing services

Live localization turns a broadcast or event into other languages while it's happening. Most live dubbing services are sold to broadcasters through enterprise contracts. Addavox Live takes the same feeds, matches each speaker's voice in the target language, and uses a deliberate 25-second delay so it can translate each sentence whole.

Choose CAMB.AI or Deepdub Live if…

the shortest possible delay matters more to you than sentence-level accuracy, and you buy through an enterprise contract. Choose AI-Media LEXI Voice if you already caption with AI-Media's encoders; it adds voice tracks at $0.50 per minute per language, plus the LEXI subscription.

Choose Addavox if…

accuracy and a natural-sounding result matter more to you than the shortest delay. Addavox translates whole sentences, matches each speaker's voice, fits every line to the speaker's timing, and delivers localized captions with the audio. It separates the original background music and sound effects and mixes them back in, even when there is no separate voice track. The live output is recorded, so any real-time errors can be fixed afterward in the free editor and the event re-released as a localized rebroadcast. Live runs on the same plans as recorded localization, at $1.00 a minute more, in all 150+ languages and dialects.

Delay figures are as each company states them. None says where its delay is measured from, and streaming protocols add their own delay before any service receives the feed. See the live-localization page for the full comparison.

FAQ

Why does Addavox Live use a 25-second delay?
So it can hear each sentence in full before translating it. Meaning, ambiguous words and word order often depend on the end of the sentence, and correcting a word already spoken costs more time than waiting.
Is Addavox Live more expensive than other live services?
Its published price of $1.57–$2.17 per minute is higher than AI-Media's $0.50 per language and Palabra's $0.50–$1.00 Streams plans. CAMB.AI and Deepdub don't publish live prices. Addavox Live includes per-speaker voice matching, localized captions and a correctable recording.
