Addavox vs Dubformer

Dubformer, founded in 2023 and based in Amsterdam, dubs recorded video for media companies and language service providers, with a voice for each speaker, a music-and-effects track and an editor for review. Customers it names include Euronews and the LSPs Adapt and D&C Localization (vendor-reported). Addavox does the same core job, publishes its per-minute prices and API, and offers LSPs reseller terms.

FAQ

Does Dubformer publish its prices?
No. Dubformer prices by contract. Its help center says credits are charged per media minute at a rate set by workflow type; the only public figures are a $400 two-week pilot with 120 credits and extra credits at $3. Addavox publishes $0.57–$1.17 per localized minute.
Do both work with language service providers?
Yes. Dubformer names LSP customers, including Adapt and D&C Localization, and announced an LSP program in 2024 without published terms. Addavox has a reseller and integration program with white-label on request, and LSPs bring their own linguists.
