For Translation Technology Partners

Add AI dubbing to the platform your clients already use

If you build translation management, localization or media workflow software, Addavox gives you video dubbing and the services behind it as an API, so your users can localize video without leaving your product.

What the Addavox API adds to your platform

Full video dubbing

Submit a video and get it back localized, with timing, QA and subtitles. Your users can open the result in the Addavox Review Editor through magic links.

Individual services

Call transcription, translation, text-to-speech and voice separation on their own, for workflows that need one step rather than the whole pipeline.

170+ languages and dialects

Including long-tail pairs other platforms don't cover.

Native voice matching

Each speaker keeps their own voice, tone and emotion. Voice matching is consent-gated, and voice data is not stored.

Built for production traffic

Signed webhooks, idempotent requests and 1,000 requests per minute.

Machine-readable spec

An OpenAPI spec scoped to the public API, so you can generate clients and tool-calling schemas.

Voice matching, not voice cloning

Most AI voice technology clones voices. Addavox matches them. The difference matters to everyone whose voice is in the video.

Voice cloning

A saved copy of a voice

Most voice-cloning technology saves the person's voice and builds a clone from it. That clone can then say any text, at any time, long after the recording session.

Addavox voice matching

A native performance, sentence by sentence

Addavox captures the speaker's vocal qualities, emotion and delivery ephemerally, one sentence at a time, and generates a voice in the target language that is designed to sound native to that language. Voice data is not stored.

That makes Addavox a poor tool for deepfakes, by design. Our focus is a native experience for the target audience.

How technology partners work with Addavox

  1. Start with a sandbox key

Create an account, generate an API key and test Addavox against your own workflow before you commit.

  2. Keep linguists in the loop

A human-in-the-loop review step lets linguists check transcripts, translations and timing before the final voice is rendered.

  3. Price it with confidence

Flat per-minute API rates are published, so you can set your own pricing for your users.

  4. Terms by agreement

Integration partner terms are set by agreement, to fit how your platform sells.

White label and on premise, available on request

Some clients need Addavox under their own name, or inside their own infrastructure. Both are available on request.

White label

Offer Addavox dubbing under your own brand, inside your own client experience.

On premise

Run Addavox in your own environment instead of on our hosted servers.

Questions technology partners ask

Can I integrate Addavox into my TMS or localization platform?

Yes. Addavox has a self-serve API with a sandbox key for dubbing, transcription, translation, text-to-speech and voice separation, and an OpenAPI spec you can generate clients from.

Will Addavox go after my customers?

No. Your account and your customer relationships are yours. We never ask who your customers are, and we don't market to them. Content belongs to your account: only you and the people you share it with can open it, it's encrypted, and it's never used to train general-purpose AI models.

Is voice matching the same as voice cloning?

No. Voice cloning saves a person's voice and builds a clone that can say any text at any time. Addavox voice matching captures the speaker's vocal qualities, emotion and delivery ephemerally, sentence by sentence, and generates a voice designed to sound native in the target language. Voice data is not stored, so Addavox is a poor tool for deepfakes by design.

Can we offer Addavox under our own brand?

Yes, on request. White-label deployment lets you offer Addavox dubbing under your own brand.

Can Addavox run on premise?

Yes, on request. Addavox can be deployed in your own environment instead of on our hosted servers.

How many languages does Addavox support?

More than 170 languages and dialects.

How is the API priced?

Addavox publishes flat per-minute API rates. See the API page for current rates.
